Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program for Minors (PRP-M)

At Star Behavioral Health & Recovery Center, our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program for Minors (PRP-M) is dedicated to providing tailored support for children and adolescents experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges. This program aims to empower young clients to build essential skills that promote stability, resilience, and community integration.
Our trained professionals offer both onsite and offsite services, ensuring that clients receive the support they need in various environments. To facilitate access, we also provide transportation to and from our facility within the local area.

  1. Individualized Treatment Plans: Each minor receives a personalized rehabilitation plan developed in collaboration with a licensed mental health clinician, ensuring that goals are relevant and attainable.
  2. Skill-Building Activities: Engaging clients in hands-on activities that promote independent living skills, decision-making, and problem-solving.
  3. Group Therapy Sessions: Providing a supportive environment where minors can share experiences and learn from peers, enhancing their understanding of mental health.

Service Delivery Process:

  • Referrals to the PRP-M program are made by a licensed mental health provider.
  • Our staff reaches out to the minor’s family within 48 hours to schedule an initial assessment.
  • A Rehabilitation Specialist collaborates with the minor and their family to create an individualized rehabilitation plan focused on their unique needs and aspirations.
  • Rehabilitation Coordinators provide ongoing support through both onsite and offsite activities, ensuring that skills are applied in real-world contexts.
